This "Temple on Blood" in Ekaterinburg was built in place of execution by Bolsheviks the crown family in 1917. The latest Russian Tsar (king) Nikolay II was arrested and holded with the whole family in "Ipat'evskiy dom" (name of the building, which was belong to engineer Ipatiev before the Revolution). Eltsyn, when he was a head of this region had ordered to demolish that building in 1977. Nevertheless this point to remain the place of pilgrimage. After the Soviet era ends, were decided to build a temple in honor of great martyrs and in 2003 construction was completed.
